I’m Alejandra — a medical doctor from Colombia who discovered photography in 2020 and never looked back. What began as a personal journey through the landscapes of my own country quickly evolved into an obsession with the wild, the untamed, and the fleeting.

Guided by my husband, also a photographer, I’ve trained my eye across continents — learning to see not just what is there, but what is alive. Every expedition teaches me something new about patience, light, and the extraordinary in the ordinary.

Photography is no longer just a hobby; it is my second language.

I’m also co-founder of Keeping Nature Tours, where I lead photography expeditions through Colombia’s most remote and biodiverse landscapes.
